Robert M. Dunn is the Managing Director of the Center for Low Energy Systems Technology in the College of Engineering, at the University of Notre Dame. LEAST is a SRC sponsored centre that coordinates research at 10 universities investigating the physics of new materials and devices toward disruptive advances in integrated circuits and systems. Prior to joining Notre Dame, Bob worked with IBM Corporation for 33 years. At IBM, Bob worked in development, manufacturing, and corporate staff positions.
Bob was the executive responsible for managing the start-up of IBM’s manufacturing facility in Dublin, Ireland. In addition to holding a BS degree in Engineering Science awarded by the University of Notre Dame, Bob also earned an MS from Penn State University in Engineering Mechanics, and a Ph. D. from the University of Illinois in Aeronautical Engineering.
