Deirdre is a former Group Chief Risk Officer of AIB and Chair of DCU Educational Trust. Deirdre previously held a leadership role in the National Treasury Management Agency where she was Chief Risk Officer. She has held a number of senior international risk management roles with GE Capital and progressively senior roles in Bank of Ireland, primarily in Strategy and Risk Management. Previous to that, she worked in Retail and Corporate Banking with AIB and Rabobank. In 2010, she was admitted as a Chartered Director to the Institute of Directors in London.
