Joe Quinsey joined DCU Educational Trust as CEO in November 2019. In this role, Joe is responsible for the organisation’s overall strategy and future development as it works to build meaningful partnerships with DCU’s supporters to further the university’s mission to transform lives and societies. An accountant by training, Joe has over 20 years’ leadership experience gained in both the not-for-profit and commercial sectors.
Jason Sherlock joined the DCU Educational Trust team in March 2018. As Director of Development Jason is responsible for developing and implementing the Trust’s overall fundraising strategy.
Claire Whelehan joined the DCU Educational Trust in September 2005. Her current role as Director of Philanthropy is to develop and maintain a portfolio of individual, corporate and foundation relationships. Claire works closely with the Chief Executive to further the mission and objectives of the university through external funding and offers guidance in establishing and implementing a wide range of advancement policies and procedures.
Pat Edmondson joined DCU Educational Trust in August 2016. Her role as Director of US Philanthropy focuses on the development, cultivation and stewarding of a portfolio of both individual and corporate relationships.
Sabina joined DCU Educational Trust in March 2019 as an Associate Director. Her role as an Associate Director focuses on the development, cultivation and stewarding of a portfolio of corporate and foundation relationships. Prior to joining DCUET she was Head of Grants and Programmes with the Irish Youth Foundation.
Georgina Garford joined the DCU Educational Trust in June 2013 as a Prospect Research Manager. In her current role as Development Services Manager, Georgina is responsible for managing the Trust’s database, prospect identification, providing research support to the development team and overseeing the prospect management process.
Sheena McLoughlin joined DCU Educational Trust in December 2017. As Campaign Projects Manager, Sheena plays a key role in DCU’s Shaping The Future Campaign, the university’s €100m drive to raise funds for more than 20 pioneering and inspirational projects to transform lives and societies through education, research, innovation and engagement
Sinéad Murphy joined the DCU Educational Trust in January 2017. As Communications Manager, she is responsible for the development and implementation of communications strategy to promote the vision of the organisation and its role in support of the University’s strategic objectives.
Nina holds the position Development Administration Manager at the DCU Educational Trust, after joining in March 2017 as Executive Assistant to the CEO. In her current role, Nina works closely with the team in identifying and implementing processes that increase efficiency, optimise performance and assist in the delivery of the DCUET strategy.
Gillian O’Brien joined the DCU Educational Trust Team in July 2019 as an Office Assistant. She is responsible for contributing to the smooth running of the Educational Trust’s day-to-day operations by providing various administrative, secretarial and event support to all members of the team.
Jennie joined the DCU Educational Trust in September 2019 as an Associate Director. Her role focuses on the development, cultivation and stewarding of a portfolio of corporate and foundation relationships. Jennie’s experience spans across marketing and fundraising in the corporate and not-for-profit sector.
Clara joined the DCU Educational Trust in October 2019. Her role as Communications and Events Executive supports the Communications and Events Manager with the development and implementation of all communications and events carried out by the Trust.
Sarah Williams joined DCU Educational Trust in September 2019. As Development Manager, she invites people, companies and foundations to become part of the innovation happening across the University. Sarah comes with project management and development experience across business, education and NGO sectors.
John O’Neill joined DCU Educational Trust as Finance Manager in December 2019. In this role, John is responsible for controlling and developing the finance function of the Trust in accordance with legislative requirements and organisational policies and strategies.
