The Communications and Events Executive is located within the Communications Team at DCU Educational Trust and serves to deliver quality communication materials and events in support of the Trust’s fundraising objectives. The role reports to the Communications and Campaign Projects Manager.
Event Management:
Working as part of the Communications Team, the role holder will assist the organisation of all Trust events (in-person and virtual) including our annual Leadership Circle Dinner, Memorial Scholarships Service and Ceremony and Access to the Workplace programme events. Event duties will include:
Stewardship Communications:
The Communications and Events Executive will assist the Senior Communications Officer in the preparation and delivery of scheduled communications for DCU’s supporters in keeping with our stewardship matrix. Duties will include:
Marketing Materials:
The role holder will assist the Communications Team to design and deliver a range of marketing materials for use by our fundraising team. Duties will include:
Digital Communications:
The role holder will support the Communications Team to design and implement a digital communications schedule to disseminate DCUET content. Duties will include:
Internal Communications:
The role holder will assist the delivery of internal communication campaigns to promote the work of DCU Educational Trust within the DCU Community.
The role holder may also be expected to perform other reasonable duties in order to assist the work of the DCU Educational Trust team. Occasionally they will be required to work outside of regular office hours, and they may be required to work where alcohol is served.
