At DCU, we are committed to opening up every aspect of campus life to respond to the needs and interests of older adults.
In 2012, we became the world’s first Age-Friendly University, recognising the need to meet the challenge and opportunities of a rising demographic both nationally and globally. Many other universities have followed our example and our Age-Friendly University Network has grown to 15 members across Ireland, the UK, Canada, the USA, Australia and South Korea.
Through the Campaign, we are seeking support to establish a number of initiatives demonstrating our commitment to this project.
